Oklahoma City – Tara Hoehner of Oklahoma City and Aubree Ferguson of Science & Arts have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Netting Pros/STADIONIC Softball Players of the Week for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
Hoehner led the Stars to a 2-0 conference mark this past weekend by going 4-of-5 at the plate for a batting average of .800 over the span. Hoehner had a pair of doubles and a home run enroute to driving in seven runs and scoring four times herself. Hoehner finished the weekend with a 1.800 slugging percentage and an .857 on-base percentage over the two games.

Ferguson led the Drovers over this past weekend by having a 2-0 record in the circle after throwing a pair of complete games. Ferguson opened the weekend with a one-hitter in a win over Texas Wesleyan while having seven strikeouts and one walk. In her second game, Ferguson tossed a three-hitter with a pair of strikeouts. Ferguson completed her week with a .42 WHIP.
