Oklahoma City – Elena Kagiali of Panhandle State, Paige Addington of John Brown, and Natalie Adams of Oklahoma City have earned Sooner Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week honors as released by the conference office Monday morning.
Kagiali was named the league’s Attacker of the Week, with Addington earning Defender of the Week honors while Adams garnered the Setter of the Week Award.
Kagiali helped the Aggies to a 1-1 conference record last week with 46 kills for an average of 5.75 kills per set with a hitting percentage of .370 on 100 total attacks over the two matches. Kagiali had her second 30 kill match in the loss to Oklahoma City. She added 32 digs and eight total blocks to her stat line for the week.

Addington aided the Golden Eagles in their two matches last week with 44 digs for an average of 6.29 digs per set. Addington had a new season and career best 28 digs in a loss to Nelson. She also added three service aces during the week to continue to lead the conference in total service aces this season while also having 46 receptions for a .957 reception percentage.

Adams paced the Stars to a 2-0 record last week with 109 assists for an average of 12.11 assists per set. Adams had 60 helpers in a 3-2 victory over Wayland Baptist while adding 49 assists in a 3-1 win over Panhandle State. Adams also added 29 digs over the two matches for an average of 3.22 digs per set.
