Oklahoma City – Kristian Nichols and Ryleah Fisher of UNT-Dallas have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
 
Nichols paced UNT-Dallas’ efforts at the TSU Relays with a sixth-place finish in the 200-meter dash. Nichols posted a time of 27.99 in the event that featured many NCAA Division I athletes.

Fisher opened her outdoor season with a pair of seventh-place finishes in the throws at the TSU Relays. Fisher was seventh in the Shot Put with a toss of 10.58m and then a seventh-place mark in the Discus with a throw of 27.97m.
