Threatt and Gray Collect SAC Digital Scoreboards Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Awards

Oklahoma City – Chloe Threatt of Langston and Mia Gray of Wayland Baptist have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboard Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
 
Threatt took part in the Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic and earned sixth place in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.65 in an event that featured many NCAA Division I and II participants. In the prelims, Threatt ran an NAIA “B” standard time of 7.60, which is the 17th fastest time in the NAIA this winter.
 
Other Nominees - Letticia Campbell, Wayland Baptist, Katalina Chan, John Brown, Isabella Gutierrez, Oklahoma City, and Carolina Valenzuela, Panhandle State.               
 
Gray participated in the NCCAA Indoor Championships and claimed the top spot on the podium in the shot put. Gray had a toss of 13.09m to win the event and is currently 23rd in the country this winter in the event.
