Oklahoma City – Andrew Dalton of College of the Ozarks and Daniel Oravbiere of Texas Wesleyan have earned this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards Men’s Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office Monday morning.
Dalton paced the Bobcats to a 1-1 conference mark last week by averaging 32.0 points per game while shooting 59.4 percent from the field. In a 109-105 double overtime victory on the road at Nelson, Dalton set a new school single-game scoring mark with 50 points on 66.7 shooting, which included 10 made three pointers. Dalton also eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau during the victory. Dalton also added 11 rebounds, three assists, and three steals for the week.

Oravbiere helped the Rams to a pair of conference wins by grabbing 12 defensive rebounds, having three steals, and blocking six shots over the span. In a 77-64 win over College of the Ozarks, Oravbiere snagged eight defensive boards while having two steals and two blocks in the win. In a victory over John Brown, the senior added four blocks and four defensive rebounds.
