Adams and Gray Earn SAC Digital Scoreboards Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Honors

Oklahoma City – Kylie Adams of Nelson and Mia Gray of Wayland Baptist have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboard Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
 
Adams took part in the Friends University First Chance Qualifier and placed second in the 3000-meter run at the early-season event. Her time of 11:29.28 was four seconds behind the eventual winner in a field that featured runners from NAIA and Junior Colleges.
 
Other Nominees - Letticia Campbell, Wayland Baptist, and Chloe Threatt, Langston.
 
Gray also participated in the Friends First Chance Qualifier and grabbed the top spot on the podium in the Shot Put. Gray had a winning toss of 13.09m in the event that outdistanced 17 other NAIA and Junior College competitors.
