Oklahoma City – Alex Lopez of Central Baptist has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards Men’s Wrestler of the Week for his efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
 
Lopez earned a pair of wins in the 149 lb. weight class this past weekend as he took part in two duals. Lopez defeated Major Watz of McMurry by a 16-1 technical fall to help Central Baptist win that dual. Lopez then had a 9-1 major decision against Clay Crane of Williams Baptist. This was Lopez’s first action with Central Baptist after joining the team to start the semester.
