Oklahoma City – Caiden Saavedra of Williams Baptist has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards Men’s Wrestler of the Week for his efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
 
Saavedra took part in the 149 lb. weight class at the Missouri Valley Open and went a perfect 5-0 to win the event. Saavedra had two pinfalls in the event while adding a technical fall, a major decision, and a decision en route to claiming the weight class.
