2026 SAC/AMC Men's Wrestling Qualifying Tournament Heads to Texas Wesleyan

Oklahoma City – The 2026 Sooner Athletic Conference/ American Midwest Conference Men’s Wrestling Qualifying Tournament will take place on Saturday, February 21, at the Sid Richardson Center in Fort Worth, Texas, starting at 10 a.m.
 
Wayland Baptist will look to defend the team title that they claimed last year for the first time in program history, and they are currently ranked 19th in the country. Oklahoma City earned the runner-up position last year and is currently ranked fourth in the final NAIA Coaches Poll that was released last week. 
 
The SAC/AMC grouping will have 15 total allocations into the NAIA National Championship that will be held on March 5-7 at the Heartland Credit Union Arena in Wichita, Kan. The allocations include two wrestlers in the 125, 149, 157, 165, and 184 lb. weight classes, while receiving one bid in the remaining classes.
 
All the action of the tournament will be able to be viewed on the Urban Edge Network. Both mats will have their own feed, and it will be free to view.
