Oklahoma City – Adonis Bernal of Wayland Baptist and Tyson Noel of Science & Arts have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Netting Pros/STADIONIC Baseball Player of the Week awards for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office Monday morning.
 
Bernal helped the Pioneers to a 5-0 record last week by going 9-of-17 at the plate for a .529 batting average. Bernal had seven extra base hits with five of those being homeruns and he drove in 11 runs while scoring seven runs himself. Bernal finished the week with a 1.529 slugging percentage and a .579 on-base percentage. Bernal also had 23 putouts and five assists in 29 total chances in the field.

Noel tossed a complete game one-hitter as the Drovers defeated Nelson 4-0 last week. Noel finished the outing with seven strikeouts and no walks in the victory and finished the game with a .14 WHIP in the seven-inning affair.
