Oklahoma City – Peyton Barrow of Oklahoma City and Aubree Ferguson of Science & Arts have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Netting Pros/STADIONIC Softball Players of the Week for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
Barrow helped the Stars to a 6-0 record last week by going 10-of-20 at the plate for a .500 batting average. Barrow had five doubles and a pair of home runs while driving in 10 runs and scoring six times herself. Barrow had a 1.050 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage for the week and had 10 putouts and an assist on 11 total chances in the field.
 
Other Nominees: Haylie Delarosa, Texas Wesleyan, Malea McMurtrey, Science and Arts, Heidi Noisey, Mid-America Christian, and Cassidy Stanhope, Oklahoma Panhandle State.     
                  
Ferguson had a 2-0 record last week with wins over Mid-America Christian as she struck out 15 batters and allowed five hits. Ferguson tossed a no-hitter in a 7-0 victory over the Evangels with seven strikeouts and only one walk. Ferguson wrapped up her week with a .71 WHIP and a 7.50 strikeout per seven innings.
