Oklahoma City Holds the 54 Hole Lead at the 2026 NAIA Men's Golf Championships

Ray and Yanovitch are One Stroke Behind the Leader in the Medalist Race

Silvis, Ill. – Oklahoma City emerged after the third round of play still in the top spot at the 2026 NAIA Men’s Golf Championship, being held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. The Stars are joined in the top 10 by Science & Arts, which is making its first appearance in the championship, and Wayland Baptist.
 
The Stars posted a team score of 292 in the third round to stay in the lead at 20-over-par 860, while Friends sits in second, six strokes back at 866. Hastings and Lindsey Wilson are tied for third at 32-over-par with a score of 872. Oklahoma City is looking to claim its 12th NAIA National Championship.
 
The Drovers will start the final round in seventh place, 19 strokes behind the Stars, while the Pioneers are tied for ninth, 21 strokes behind Oklahoma City.
 
In the individual event, Oklahoma City’s Carter Ray and Christian Yanovitch are tied for second at even par 210, entering the final round as Ray posted a two-over-par score of 72 while Yanovitch fired an even par round of 70. The two Stars are one stroke behind the tournament leader. Sacha Brendle of Wayland Baptist is still in contention for the medalist honors as he currently is in a tie for 10th, five strokes behind the leader.
 
The final round begins at 8 a.m. CT on Friday using split tees -- both No. 1 and No. 10 at 8:00 a.m.
