Oklahoma City –Evangelia Davlakou of Science & Arts and Sarah Snodgrass of John Brown have earned this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
Davlakou claimed her second weekly honor of the season after leading the Drovers to a 2-0 conference mark last week by averaging 19.5 points per game on 43.8 shooting from the field. In a 70-64 victory over Southwestern Christian, Davlakou scored 23 points while shooting 44.4 percent from the field. She also added 10 assists for the week and seven steals.

Snodgrass garnered her second defensive weekly honor in pacing the Golden Eagles to a 2-0 conference record by averaging 11.5 defensive rebounds for the week. Snodgrass collected 12 defensive boards in a win over Wayland Baptist while grabbing 11 defensive caroms in a victory over Panhandle State. Snodgrass also had three steals for the week while averaging 20.5 points per game.
