Davlakou and Snodgrass Earn SAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honors

Oklahoma City – Evangelia Davlakou of Science & Arts and Sarah Snodgrass of John Brown have earned this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office Monday morning.
 
Davlakou paced the Drovers to an 83-66 season-opening win over UNT-Dallas by scoring 30 points on 9-of-16 shooting for 56.3 percent while hitting five triples in the contest. Davlakou also added eight rebounds, three assists, and six steals to her stat line in the victory.
 
Other Nominees - Ellie Willard, Oklahoma City, Monique Carter, Mid-America Christian, Ashlen Garrett, College of the Ozarks, Chrissen Harland, Southwestern Christian, Kameryn Phillips, Texas Wesleyan, and Sarah Snodgrass, John Brown.
 
Snodgrass anchored the Golden Eagles defensively with 15 defensive rebounds in two games for an average of 7.5 defensive boards while adding three steals. Snodgrass had double-doubles in each of the John Brown contests as she had 20 points and 13 boards against Tabor and then had 16 points and 12 rebounds against Bethany.
