Oklahoma City Takes the Top Spot After Day One of the 2025 SAC Women's Golf Championship

Oklahoma City – Oklahoma City put three of their players in the top five as the Stars finished in the top spot after 36 holes of the 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship held at Twin Hills Golf Club in Oklahoma City Monday afternoon.
 
The Stars have an 11-stroke advantage after the first two rounds of the tournament, as they are currently 27-over-par as a team, with Texas Wesleyan in the second spot after going 38-over-par for the day. Science & Arts finished the day in third place with a score of 121 over par.
 
Maddi Kamas and Logan Allen of Oklahoma City are tied for the individual crown after finishing the day at three-over-par, while Makena Junkin of Texas Wesleyan is just two strokes behind in third place at five-over-par. Bethany Norton of Oklahoma City, Lucia Larruscain, and Raeleigh Davidson of Texas Wesleyan are tied for fourth at nine-over-par.
 
The tournament is set to conclude on Tuesday, April 29, with a shotgun start set for 8 a.m.
