Oklahoma City – Maddy Baber and Jayden Anderson of Science & Arts have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Netting Pros/STADIONIC Softball Players of the Week for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
Baber aided the No. 7-ranked Drovers to a series sweep of No. 2 Oklahoma City by going 8-of-12 at the plate for a .667 batting average. Baber had a pair of doubles and drove in two runs while scoring four runs herself. Baber also had two stolen bases over the span, while having a .667 on-base percentage with a .833 slugging percentage in the series. Baber also had 17 put outs and an assist on 18 total chances defensively.

Anderson claimed her second consecutive weekly honor by going 2-0 over the weekend against Oklahoma City. Anderson tossed a two hitter with three strikeouts over five innings in a victory on Friday and then surrendered five hits and an earned run in a victory to give the Drovers a series sweep. Anderson finished the weekend with a .67 WHIP.
