Oklahoma City – For the second consecutive week, Jayden Anderson of Science & Arts has been named the NAIA National Softball Pitcher of the Week for her efforts this past week. A panel of institutional and conference sports information directors votes on the award.

Anderson claimed her second consecutive weekly honor by going 2-0 over the weekend against Oklahoma City. Anderson tossed a two-hitter with three strikeouts over five innings in a victory on Friday and then surrendered five hits and an earned run in a victory to give the Drovers a series sweep. Anderson finished the weekend with a .67 WHIP.

In her career at USAO, the junior improves her record to 37-6, along with a 1.67 earned run average, while striking out 256 batters in 285.1 innings of work.

Anderson is the second Sooner Athletic Conference player to earn multiple national honors, as she joins Analise Rayburn of Oklahoma City in collecting the award twice this spring.
