Science & Arts Claims the Top Seed in the 2026 SAC Softball Tournament Presented by Netting Pros/STADIONIC

Oklahoma City – For the fourth time in program history, Science & Arts will enter the 2026 Sooner Athletic Conference Softball Tournament presented by Netting Pros/STADIONIC as the top seed in the championship that is slated to begin on Thursday, April 30. The double elimination tournament will be contested at both Science & Arts and Oklahoma City, with the title game set to be played on Saturday, May 2.
 
The Drovers are currently ranked seventh in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll and have won 25 of their last 26 games. Oklahoma City will be the No. 2 seed as they are ranked second nationally. Texas Wesleyan will be the No. 3 seed, while Mid-America Christian has grabbed the No. 4 seed.
 
Science & Arts will host the top bracket after finishing the regular season with an overall record of 44-8 and a league mark of 33-3. They will host the No. 8 seed, Nelson, who finished the season with an overall record of 18-32 and a conference mark of 11-25. The Drovers swept the regular season series that was contested in early April.
 
The second game at Science and Arts will see the No. 4 seed Mid-America Christian take on the No. 5 seed Southwestern Christian. The Evangels join the tournament with an overall record of 21-24 and a conference mark of 19-17. The Eagles wrapped up the regular season campaign with an overall mark of 27-19 and a league record of 18-18. The two teams split their regular-season contests.
 
The bottom portion of the bracket will take place at Oklahoma City, as the Stars completed the regular season with an overall mark of 43-7 and a conference record of 32-4. They will face No. 7 seed Langston, who finished the season with an overall record of 17-25 and a league record of 12-24. The Stars won all four of the regular-season games over the Lions this season.
 
The final game at Oklahoma City will see No. 3 seed Texas Wesleyan match up against No. 6 seed Wayland Baptist. The Rams completed the regular season with an overall record of 27-22 and a league mark of 21-15. The Pioneers join the tournament with an overall record of 27-21 and a league mark of 17-19.
 
Tournament action will begin at both Science & Arts and Oklahoma City on Thursday, April 30, at 11 a.m.
